2021-22 Oakdale’s State of the School

I am writing to you in response to an unfortunate situation that occurred during a second grade lesson Friday. As part of Black History Month, each of our teachers have been incorporating African American history into their classes. It was brought to our attention that earlier today, during a Black History-focused lesson, that the term “colored people” was used on a presentation that was displayed to students.
